It is the user’s full responsibility to ensure that no information that can be traced to specific individuals is entered in the app. This includes, but is not limited to: names, personal ID numbers, addresses, specific workplaces, names of healthcare providers or facilities, and other direct or indirect identifying information.
The user is responsible for:
Only using anonymized codes and descriptions
Not entering names of people, healthcare providers, workplaces or specific places
For legal guardians, only entering type (guardian/trustee/personal representative), not names
For healthcare contacts, only entering type of care, not specific facilities or staff
Using the app on a secure and protected device
Storing the device securely and using appropriate password protection
Not sharing access to the app with unauthorized persons
Securely deleting data if the device is to be decommissioned or change owner
The app is designed for use without processing personal data under data protection legislation. Provided the user only uses anonymized data, the use is not covered by personal data processing rules.
If the app is used in a way that involves entering personal data, it is the user or organization that is responsible for ensuring applicable legislation is followed.
